Banks picks up 13th straight win at home

Recap: Banks Braves vs. South Umpqua Lancers

With a playoff game on the line, the Banks Braves rose to the challenge on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 42-7 victory over the Lancers at home. Banks' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Leading Banks to victory were Ashton Crossen and Lane Gilbert. Crossen gained 118 total yards and two touchdowns, while Gilbert rushed for 74 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries.

Banks' victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.77 points. As for South Umpqua, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4.

Banks has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Cascade Christian. Cascade Christian is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. South Umpqua does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
