Volleyball Recap: Sheldon Takes a Loss

Sheldon came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Hume Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Monday.

Sheldon took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 25-21.

Sheldon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Hume, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Looking ahead, Sheldon will be playing in front of their home fans against Bronaugh at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hume, they will welcome Northeast Vernon County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
