Basketball Game Preview: Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs vs. Father Lopez Green Wave

Flagler Palm Coast and Father Lopez are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Father Lopez Green Wave at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Flagler Palm Coast is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.3 points per game this season.

Flagler Palm Coast is headed into Tuesday's matchup hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 45-40 heartbreaker at the hands of Episcopal School of Jacksonville.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Ava Works, who posted 17 points and four steals. Alexandra Perez was another key player, putting up 14 points and eight rebounds.

Meanwhile, Father Lopez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell to Cocoa Beach 30-24.

Father Lopez's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Flagler Palm Coast, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 12-5.

Everything came up roses for Flagler Palm Coast against Father Lopez in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 62-16 win. Does Flagler Palm Coast have another victory up their sleeve, or will Father Lopez turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
