Volleyball Recap: Arp Gets the Win

Arp picked up another tournament win on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Apple Springs Eagles.

Kinley Schminkey paced Arp's offense, picking up three kills. Schminkey got some help from Landry Langley and her six assists. Finally, Schminkey was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Arp's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Apple Springs, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Arp will take on Waskom in a tournament on Friday. As for Apple Springs, they will head out on the road to challenge Non Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
