Softball Recap: Ramsay Takes a Loss

Ramsay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Leeds Greenwave. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Greenwave this season, with their most recent loss being a 15-0 defeat two weeks ago.

Kennedi Nichols-Ford stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Breonna Williams, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

Ramsay's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Leeds, they now have a winning record of 15-14.

As of now, neither Ramsay nor the Greenwave have any future games scheduled.
