Softball Recap: Dennis-Yarmouth Regional Takes a Loss

Dennis-Yarmouth Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to the Falmouth Clippers. The game marked the Dolphins' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Dennis-Yarmouth Regional saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Ormon, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Dennis-Yarmouth Regional's record is now 5-7. As for Falmouth, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dennis-Yarmouth Regional will square off against Notre Dame Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Falmouth, they will challenge New Bedford at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
