Basketball Recap: Byron Comes Up Short

Byron lost against Durand back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Byron Eagles took a blow against the Durand Railroaders, falling 84-46. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 661st, while the Railroaders are ranked 143rd).

Byron's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Durand, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-3.

Looking ahead, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Eagles face off against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Durand, they will face off against Chesaning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
