Dawson came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Georgetown by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Dawson took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-15.

Dawson's victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Georgetown, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dawson will challenge Pasadena Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Georgetown, they will be taking part in a tournament against Marcus at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
