Soccer Recap: Wheeler County Comes Up Short

Wheeler County lost against Dooly County back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs lost 6-3 to the Bobcats. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Wheeler County were already down 3-0.

Shiann Carey and Esmeralda Ramirez scored all three of Wheeler County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Wheeler County and nudges their season record down to 4-6. As for Dooly County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-6.

Wheeler County didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-1 win against Montgomery County on the 27th. As for Dooly County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 5-0 victory against Johnson County on the 27th.
