Baseball Recap: Masterman Dragons vs. Carver High School of Engineering & Science
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Masterman had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against Carver High School of Engineering & Science by a score of 7-3. The victory continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with Carver High School of Engineering & Science: they've now won three in a row.

Noah Seder was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one triple. He is becoming a predictor of Masterman's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 4-1-1 (and 3-6 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Casela, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two RBI.
The win got Masterman back to even at 7-7-1. As for Carver High School of Engineering & Science, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.
Looking ahead, Masterman will square off against Central at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Carver High School of Engineering & Science does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
