St. Michael's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Horsemen also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

While St. Michael's won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-23, 25-20.

Larissa Rodriguez paced St. Michael's offense, picking up nine kills. Rodriguez got some help from Emily Villanueva and her 11 assists. Villanueva was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

St. Michael's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Santa Fe Prep, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 11-4.

St. Michael's has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Robertson on the 8th. As for Santa Fe Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Santa Fe Indian at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
