There's no place like home for St. Michael, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Horsemen, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

St. Michael's never let Santa Fe Prep on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-23, 25-20.

Larissa Rodriguez paced St. Michael's offense, picking up nine kills. Rodriguez got some help from Emily Villanueva and her 11 assists. Villanueva was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

St. Michael's record now sits at 14-2. As for Santa Fe Prep, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 11-4 record.

St. Michael's wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Robertson on the 8th. As for Santa Fe Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Santa Fe Indian on the 16th.
