Volleyball Recap: Hunterdon Central Wins High-Profile Matchup Against Colonia

Hunterdon Central faced Colonia in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Red Devils skirted past the Patriots 2-1. For the Red Devils, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Patriots walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Hunterdon Central has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Colonia, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hunterdon Central will face off against Watchung Hills Regional at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Colonia, they will challenge Monroe Township at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
