Eastern has gone a perfect 7-0 against Western recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Eagles will face off against the Indians at 5:00 p.m. Eastern is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12 runs per game this season.

Eastern is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Symmes Valley just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Friday. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings.

Lynnleigh McCollister made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Libby Poorman was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Western was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They lost 15-2 to Northwest. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Mohawks recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Western's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Eastern, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 15-3-1.

Everything went Eastern's way against Western in their previous matchup last Wednesday, as Eastern made off with a 19-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
