Baseball Recap: Tyler Comes Up Short

Tyler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 11-0 to the South Harrison Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 back in March.

Tyler's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for South Harrison, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Tyler will take on Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Harrison, they will face off against Robert C. Byrd at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season.
