Vashon entered their tilt with Paideia on Saturday with 16 consecutive wins dating back to last season but they'll enter their next game with 17. They came out on top against the Pythons by a score of 58-47.

Vashon's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Paideia, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vashon will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on McCluer North at 7:00 p.m. on December 16. As for Paideia, they will take on Fellowship Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Pythons will need to watch out since the Paladins have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
