Basketball Game Preview: Omaha Christian Academy Eagles vs. Dorchester Longhorns

The Omaha Christian Academy Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Dorchester Longhorns at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Omaha Christian Academy needed a bit of extra time to put away Mead. They had just enough and edged the Raiders out 31-28.

Mari Keuck was the offensive standout of the game as she posted 20 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. Omaha Christian Academy is 2-1 when Keuck posts five or more steals, but 1-17 otherwise.

Omaha Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Dorchester entered their tilt with McCool Junction on Friday with five consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with six. They took down the Mustangs 46-27.

Dorchester's win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.6 points over those games. As for Omaha Christian Academy, their record now sits at 3-18.
