Baseball Recap: Lely Trojans vs. Barron Collier Cougars
Lely extended their losing streak to four on Wednesday, dropping them down to 1-6. They lost 13-0 to the Barron Collier Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 16-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2025.

Looking ahead, Lely will face off against Naples Classical at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Barron Collier, they are taking a road trip to square off against IMG Academy Gray at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cougars 4, the Ascenders 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
