North Putnam is a perfect 3-0 against Crawfordsville since May of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cougars will square off against the Athenians at 6:00 p.m. North Putnam is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

North Putnam will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating McCutcheon, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Cougars came out on top against the Mavericks by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

North Putnam had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-20, 26-24, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Crawfordsville narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Non Varsity Opponent 2-1.

Crawfordsville was actually outscored in aggregate across those three sets (64-53), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 10-25, 28-26, 15-13.

North Putnam pushed their record up to 16-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Crawfordsville, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.

Everything went North Putnam's way against Crawfordsville in their previous meeting back in April, as North Putnam made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
