Cherokee County waltzed into their game on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Central Lions 64-22. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 56th in Alabama, while the Lions are ranked 395th in Georgia) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cherokee County's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Looking ahead, Cherokee County is taking a road trip to take on Sardis at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jonesboro at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
