Richmond is a perfect 6-0 against Marine City since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Blue Devils will challenge the Mariners at 4:30 p.m. Richmond's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Marine City's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Richmond is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 14 runs on Saturday, they were much more limited against Croswell-Lexington on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Marine City's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 7-3 to Fraser.

Richmond's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-7. As for Marine City, their loss dropped their record down to 16-9.

Richmond beat Marine City 6-3 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
