Whitman had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They enjoyed a cozy 74-59 win over the Blair Blazers on Friday. The game was the first time the Vikings have beaten the Blazers on their court since January 26, 2018.

Bobby Zedak was nothing short of spectacular: he shot 77% from the field to rack up 24 points and five steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in December of 2024. Will Shapiro was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 11 points and nine assists.
