GALA came tearing into Monday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the View Park Knights a 21-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Goddesses, who have now won three games by 20 points or more so far this season.

GALA's win bumped their record up to 7-1-1. As for View Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. GALA will square off against Marshall at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Goddesses 7.2, the Barristers 11.4) so any points scored will be well earned. As for View Park, they will head out on the road to face off against Dorsey at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.
