Softball Recap: Pleasantville Takes a Loss

Pleasantville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 40-29 to the Bridgeton Bulldogs. Even if the Greyhounds couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Pleasantville's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Bridgeton, they moved to 2-5 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Pleasantville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 18-0 defeat against Wildwood Catholic on the 16th. As for Bridgeton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 28-3 loss against Oakcrest on the 15th.
