Utica Ford got themselves on the board against Chippewa Valley on Thursday, but Chippewa Valley never followed suit. They blew past the Big Reds 10-0. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won six games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Utica Ford is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-5-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Chippewa Valley, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Utica Ford will take on rival Utica Eisenhower at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Chippewa Valley is set to challenge their familiar foe Anchor Bay at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
