St. John Paul II Academy can't be to happy about their upcoming road match considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Wednesday. The game between St. John Paul II Academy and Coral Glades didn't end well, with St. John Paul II Academy falling 19-0.

Meanwhile, Dr. Joaquin Garcia put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 12-6 W against Centennial. The 12-point effort marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

One reason for the win was Dr. Joaquin Garcia's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Tionna Waters. Waters is crushing it when it comes to sacks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the field this season.
