Heritage Hills has gone 6-1 against Wood Memorial recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Trojans at 5:00 p.m. Heritage Hills is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

Things were looking good for Heritage Hills after they put the first runs on the board on Monday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Evansville Mater Dei by a score of 5-4. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Heritage Hills saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haley Fisher, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Another was Mayci Litherland, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Wood Memorial's offense. They came up short against North Daviess on Saturday, falling 9-0. The Trojans have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Heritage Hills' loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Wood Memorial, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything went Heritage Hills' way against Wood Memorial when the teams last played back in April of 2023, as Heritage Hills made off with a 10-0 win. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
