Football Recap: Haddon Township Comes Up Short

Haddon Township extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to six on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-3. They came up short against the Pitman Panthers, falling 28-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hawks of the 14-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

As for Pitman, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.5 points over those games.

It was another big night for Aidan Upham, who rushed for 219 yards and two TDs on only 14 carries, and also picked up 59 receiving yards and one score. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 77-yard run. Pitman also got help from Jay Craig, who showed off his sure hands for 103 receiving yards.

Haddon Township has already played their next matchup, a 36-0 loss against Collingswood on the 26th. As for Pitman, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 51-18 win against Mastery on the 26th.
