The Broncos will host the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Belton has given up an average of 32.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lake Belton is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Cedar Park on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Broncos were beaten by the Timberwolves 49-21. The Broncos were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Despite the defeat, Lake Belton got top-tier performance from Zion Harness, who picked up 172 receiving yards and two scores, and also rushed for 61 yards. Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Georgetown against Glenn on Friday as the squad secured a 57-14 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 23 points or more this season.

Georgetown's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Lake Belton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Lake Belton was dealt a bruising 65-21 defeat at the hands of Georgetown when the teams last played back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Eagles' Jett Walker, who rushed for 184 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per carry.
