Volleyball Recap: Wayne Comes Up Short

Wayne suffered their biggest loss since September 24th on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to the Duchesne Eagles. The Badgers haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Oaklee Brian paced Wayne's offense, picking up eight kills. Brian got some help from Timber Wood and her 18 assists. Cassie Rees controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Duchesne, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-8.

Looking ahead, Wayne will take on Manila at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Duchesne does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
