Volleyball Recap: Dixon Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Dixon, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the South Lenoir Blue Devils on Tuesday. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-12, 20-25, 25-15.

Dixon's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for South Lenoir, they dropped their record down to 1-2 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Dixon will venture away from home to square off against Heide Trask at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Lenoir, they will face off against Swansboro at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Blue Devils surely won't give up without a fight.
