Volleyball Recap: Dixon Victorious

Dixon hadn't done well against South Lenoir recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 3-1 win over the Blue Devils. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-12, 20-25, 25-15.

Kaylie Moore had a dynamite game, getting 20 digs and one assist. Those 20 digs gave her a new career-high.

Dixon's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for South Lenoir, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.

Dixon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Heide Trask on the 20th. As for South Lenoir, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Swansboro on the 20th.
