Baseball Recap: Claiborne Takes a Loss

Claiborne lost against Grainger on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell 7-2 to the Grizzlies. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Emery Keiter made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-4. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times he's played.

Claiborne now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Grainger, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-11.

Looking ahead, Claiborne will head out on the road to face off against Hancock County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grainger, they will be playing at home against Jefferson County at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
