Baseball Recap: Dawson School Takes a Loss

Dawson School came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the SkyView Academy Hawks, falling 7-1. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Milo Richtel was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Dawson School now has a losing record of 5-6. As for SkyView Academy, their record is now 7-3.

Dawson School wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-3 victory against Estes Park on the 18th. As for SkyView Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Clear Creek at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
