Round Rock has gone 9-1 against Stony Point recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Dragons will challenge the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Round Rock knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Stony Point likes a good challenge.

Round Rock was handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Round Rock Westwood last Friday. The Dragons really took it to the Warriors for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-7 win. The Dragons pushed the score to 28-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors had little chance of recovering from.

Round Rock's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brady Cochran, who rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 35 receiving yards. Another signal caller making a difference was Dov Stickler, who threw for 246 yards and a pair of TDs.

Meanwhile, Stony Point played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 35-7 loss at the hands of Round Rock Westwood. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Round Rock has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.4 points over those games. As for Stony Point, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

We should be in store for an exciting game as Round Rock and Stony Point have no problem gaining yardage. The Dragons have been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 438.6 total yards per game. However, it's not like Stony Point struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 378.1 total yards. With a pair of commanding offenses duking it out, the defenses are going to have their work cut out for them.

Round Rock didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Stony Point when the teams last played back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with a 22-17 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Tigers' Kinnick Kalbus, who rushed for 90 yards, and also threw for 77 yards and two touchdowns. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Dragons still be able to contain Kalbus? There's only one way to find out.
