Rhea County waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the McMinn County Cherokees 34-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Golden Eagles have posted against the Cherokees since October 30, 2015.

Leading Rhea County to victory were Mason Ford and Jaxton Schmitt. Ford rushed for 132 yards and a pair of TDs on only 14 carries, while Schmitt threw for 202 yards and two touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Schmitt a new career-high in passer rating (158.6).

Rhea County didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited McMinn County to a completion percentage of just 50%.
