Football Recap: Jackson Takes a Loss

Jackson lost against Lamar County back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Red Devils fell 13-6 to the Trojans. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Canaan Bernhardt threw for 184 yards and one TD. Dondre Mulligan was his top target, picking up 115 receiving yards.

Jackson now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lamar County, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Jackson will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jasper County at 7:30 p.m. on September 12. As for Lamar County, they will take on Rutland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
