Basketball Recap: Stuart W. Cramer Storm vs. South Point Red Raiders

The Stuart W. Cramer Storm won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They suffered a tough 67-47 loss at the hands of South Point. Stuart W. Cramer has not had much luck with the Red Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Stuart W. Cramer lost, one person who can't be blamed is Amari Littlejohn. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Darius Sykes, who scored seven points along with two blocks.

Graham Williams was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds for South Point. Williams is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last four games he's played. Dylan Bradley was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.

Stuart W. Cramer's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-14. As for South Point, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stuart W. Cramer will take on the Chargers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Crest's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 15 matchups. As for South Point, they will play host again and welcome the Huskies, where tip off is scheduled for 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
