Baseball Recap: Smith County Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Smith County's offense. They lost 13-0 to the Hendersonville Commandos on Saturday. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Owls were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Smith County and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Hendersonville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Smith County will host Monterey at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hendersonville, they will take on Mount Juliet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
