Volleyball Game Preview: Round Valley Elks vs. Northland Prep Academy Spartans

Round Valley hasn't had much luck against Northland Prep Academy recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Elks will be playing at home against the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. Round Valley is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

On Wednesday, Round Valley made easy work of Valley and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Round Valley relied on the efforts of Kylar Penrod, who had 14 digs and four aces, and Bren Finch, who had eight digs and three aces. Those 14 digs gave Penrod a new career-high. Ryan Jaramillo also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Meanwhile, Northland Prep Academy came up short against St. Johns on Thursday and fell 3-1. The Spartans have struggled against the Redskins recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Northland Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Round Valley, their win bumped their record up to 18-7.
