Baseball Game Preview: Potomac Senior Panthers vs. Robinson Rams

The Potomac Senior Panthers will challenge the Robinson Rams at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Potomac Senior came up short against Liberty and fell 8-4.

Potomac Senior saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kam Honore, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Honore is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another was Theo Thomas, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Robinson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 10-0 to Charles J. Colgan.

Potomac Senior's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Robinson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-13.

Potomac Senior came out on top in a nail-biter against Robinson in their previous meeting back in March of 2016, sneaking past 7-5. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
