Basketball Recap: Raelene Harvey's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Many Farms over Monument Valley

Many Farms has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the Monument Valley Cougars.

Many Farms lost on Thursday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Raelene Harvey, who posted nine points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Jillian Begay, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards.

Monument Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dakotah Cly, who earned 16 points. Cly is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last four games she's played. Malaya Blackmountain was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Many Farms' defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Monument Valley, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Many Farms didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 54-36 victory against Pinon on the 25th. Monument Valley has also already played their next game, a 39-36 win against Pinnacle on the 24th.
