Basketball Recap: Hathaway Comes Up Short

Hathaway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the Midland Rebels, falling 78-41. Sadly, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-40 back in December of 2024.

Hathaway's loss dropped their record down to 17-27. As for Midland, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-12 record this season.

Hathaway will look to defend their home court on Friday against Jennings at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Jennings' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests. As for Midland, they will face off against Barbe at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
