Soccer Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for Bonita

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bonita had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They beat the Oak Hills Bulldogs by a goal, winning 2-1. That's two games straight that the Bearcats have won by just one goal.

Bonita pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five contests. As for Oak Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-1.

Looking ahead, Bonita will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Sultana at 5:00 p.m. Sultana will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Bonita surely won't give up without a fight. Oak Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
