Heritage had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Emerald on Tuesday. The Patriots put the hurt on the Aerouants with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on three straight.

Heritage not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Emerald between 14 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14, 25-14.

Heritage's win bumped their record up to 19-10. As for Emerald, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

Heritage will challenge Pittsburg at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Emerald does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
