Softball Recap: Cooper Comes Up Short

Cooper fell victim to Celeste and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Tuesday.

Cooper dropped their record down to 3-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Celeste, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cooper is set to take on their familiar foe North Hopkins at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Celeste will face off against rival Campbell at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
