Soccer Game Preview: Eastlake vs. North Creek

The Eastlake Wolves are taking a road trip to take on the North Creek Jaguars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

After two halves, Eastlake and Lake Washington settled for a 1-1 draw.

Wolves' goal came courtesy of Hamza Elmetwally, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, North Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Newport - Bellevue. While losing is never fun, North Creek can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 136th, while Newport - Bellevue are ranked 16th).

North Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1. Eastlake's draw makes their record 6-4-2 this season.

Eastlake came up short against North Creek in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, falling 2-0. Can Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
