Volleyball Recap: Tabernacle Christian Comes Up Short

If Tabernacle Christian was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Indiana Christian Academy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles lost 3-0 to Horizon Christian on Monday. Considering the last time the Eagles couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-16, 26-24.

Tabernacle Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season. As for Horizon Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Coming up, Tabernacle Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Crosspointe Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Horizon Christian, they are taking a road trip to challenge Mooresville Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
