Volleyball Recap: Parker Comes Up Short

After flying high against Jackson-Olin on Monday, Parker came back down to earth. The Thundering Herd took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fairfield Tigers on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 3rd.

While Parker was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22.

Parker's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Fairfield, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Parker didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Central on the 27th. Fairfield has also already played their next contest (against Carver Birmingham), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
