Basketball Recap: Lynnwood's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Lynnwood came into Saturday's matchup having lost 24 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the University Prep Pumas, posting a 65-31 victory. The Royals' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Lynnwood's win ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-5. As for University Prep, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lynnwood will take on Shorecrest in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Shorecrest will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Lynnwood surely won't give up without a fight. University Prep and Eastside Prep will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. University Prep is facing Eastside Prep at the right time seeing as Eastside Prep is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
